Notes Postcard from 1916 featuring a profile colour portrait of Ola Humphrey from the serial 'The Purple Iris'. Inscription on the back reads: "Ola Humphrey, a popular actress, left the stage to become a Princess, and entered the Royal Harem. Here she had many thrilling, strange and mysterious adventures, and after her final escape from the Harem she re-enacted her experiences for The Trans-Atlantic Film Co., Ltd., who are now presenting them in the gorgeous, oriental serial-photoplay, 'The Purple Iris,' in six powerful weekly episodes, each 2,000ft. long."
