Notes | Published in 1842, this seemingly straightforward print of a view near Windsor Castle is actually found to be hiding some famous figures. If you look closely, you should be able to see Prince Albert, Queen Victoria and two of their children, as well as the head of Sir Robert Peel, the Duke of Wellington and Lord John Russell - all prominent political figures of the day - hidden amongst the trees. |
