Description | A woman enters a set representing a boudoir and commences to disrobe, removing her hat, cape, belt, skirt, petticoat and corsets, finally reclining in a wicker chair in her chemise and picking up a book. This is a very early example of risqué Victorian film-making (also known under the more prosaic title Woman Undressing). Note: Previously attributed to Skladanowsky. However, the perforations of the original negative correspond to those made by Collings' own perforator. |
