Notes | 54 playbills for theatres in Bolton, mainly the Theatre, Bolton but also Duke's Private Theatre, the French Pavilion, Ryan's Queen Theatre; 4 playbills for Bury, 7 for Leigh, 22 for the Queen's Theatre in Manchester and others for theatres in Tyldesley, Oldham, Preston and Rochdale as well as some for theatres in London and region, including Barnet, Shoreditch, and Old Brompton. Bolton playbills include circus performances. Most playbills are undated but the earliest date recorded is 1831 and the latest 1851. |
